Appointment Scheduling Handbook

Conference Hall Scheduling Apps

There are several applications like Zoom, Zoho, GoToMeeting, Webex and many more that allow scheduling of meetings over the network. The best apps bring to the table features like screen sharing, content sharing, white boarding, break out rooms, creating vanity URL and much more. Some of the apps that have both free and paid plans along with the above mentioned features are the following:

Karen

Amidst the most recommended and widely used meeting-scheduling systems, Karen App stands at the top of the list. It provides a detailed structure about availability and accessibility of staff personnel and the venues of meeting and offers calendar syncing with Office365, Outlook, Gmail, iCloud, and MailChimp. Its intuitive dashboard provides Analytical reports to get a statistical insight of the meeting analytics.

Zoom

Zoom leverages its competitive advantage by allowing a large number of participants in its meetings and webinar. The uber-cool technologies of virtual backgrounds add to the subtleness of high definition video and audio conferences on Zoom. Additionally, the features of breakout rooms, screen sharing, whiteboard, sharing audio and video files, and dual monitors along with several others have set Zoom apart in the crowd. It has a free basic plan and paid plans start from 1300 INR.

GoToMeeting

GoToMeeting comes in three plans, a Professional, a Business, and an Enterprise plan and can scale up to 2000 participants. It is an excellent solution if you are looking for an alternative to Zoom, but their plans are not as pocket friendly. They also have several features like screen sharing, whiteboarding, scheduling and recording meetings and an intuitive user interface. Although, you might have to download the desktop client app to join the meetings.

Webex

Cisco has been around for a very long time. However, most of us haven’t heard of it because it has all along targeted the enterprise sector. It also has a free version that includes a generous amount of features and can scale up to 100 participants in each video call. The free version also has a toll dial-in in addition to VoIP.

Microsoft teams

With Microsoft Teams you can record meetings, change backgrounds, turn on captions, raise your hand if you are on mute, view participants list and many more. The free version includes chat and search options, video conferencing, and group audio calling. What’s more, the free version also provides 10GB of team file storage along with 2GB of personal file storage per person.
