Mute participants on Zoom call

One impressive feature of the Zoom app is that it lets the hosts and admins a lot of control over their meetings. For example, the host decides who gets invited, who can enter the video call or waits in the waiting room, change the name of an attendee, or switch off their microphone.

The mute option found on the Participants panel displays the name of all the attendees. Upon clicking on the name of a particular attendee, it reveals the option to mute or unmute them. The host may further choose to mute specific participants or everyone on the call. One can also set these before commencing the meeting.
