1. Booking Customizations
With Karen you can change:
- The duration of the booking
- Availability for a meeting
- The number of events allowed everyday
- The location of your meetings
- The reminders for each meeting
Event types are ways using which you segregate your calendar and hours. For instance, if you run five different activities in a day. You can segregate
hours of day, and days of week for each activity type, in our terminology we call it event type. In this article let us see, how we create an event type.
2. Specifying How and When people can Book with You
To set the dates and date of your meetings, follow these steps
Select the ‘Edit’ option from the ‘Event Types’ tab.
In the next page, select the location of the event by typing in the ‘Location’ tab.
In the duration tab, select the duration of the meeting. You can select between hours and minutes from the drop down menu.
To set how long people can book appointments for the event, select the date in the ‘End Date’ option.
To select the number of days of the week you are available, you can select and deselect individual dates.
In a group event, you can select the maximum number of available slots in the event.
In the slots tab, use the arrow keys to select the number of slots.
In the reminders tab, you can change the amount of time of the reminder before the event.
All making all the required changes, click on ‘Next’ and then click on ‘Submit’ in the final window. The changes will be updated in the event type.
